SOLACE was created to step into quiet spaces with women who identify as mothers, to provide care and recognition.
Initially, SOLACE was created for Birth Mothers after placing a child for adoption – as a way to provide an adoption sensitive gift that’s also intentional and unique.
Many Birth Mothers do not have someone in their life that recognizes them as a mother. They need an acknowledgement during important moments that they are a mother.
By donating a SOLACE Box to a Birth Mother, you can help ensure that a woman who thoughtfully chose adoption for her child feels supported in embracing herself as she is: a mother.
Donations are accepted year round and in any denomination.

Recipients of donated SOLACE boxes are determined primarily through our networks of Birth Moms known to us,
or Birth Parent support organizations with whom we collaborate.
Nominations are made by friends or family of birth mothers are welcome! Self-nominations can be made by the Birth Mother as well.
